Command and Conquer Classics - The Battle Continues




EA is giving away a Free Command & Conquer Classics!!!

The series like Red Alert (the one who started it all), Tiberian Dawn, Tiberian Storm and Firestorm is now released as freeware. This is just to make way of the upcoming Command and Conquer 4 - Tiberian Twilight, and celebrating their success throughout the year.

If you missed the part of the sequel or this classic game, that has been here for ten and half years, you can now go back and conquer the warfare game again. The homepage is presented with the Tiberian Twilight game coming very soon on March 16, this year, but you can instantly be connected to the download site of the classic series in this link.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Choose if whether you are in the Allied or Soviet side, with a brief storyline, screenshots and the undeniably classic trailer of this first series. Installation information is also provided.







Brief History:

A real-time strategy computer game, which Allied Forces battle an aggressive Soviet Union for control over the mainland of Europe. A Command & Conquer franchise, that was released in the year of 1996 by Virgin Interactive and produced by Westwood Studios. Red Alert is the recent sequel of the original Command & Conquer of '95.





Command and Conquer: Tiberian Dawn
Advancing through the Red Alert game, this brought us the GDI forces and NOD counterpart, which you can download separately. One of the scenes in this game can also be viewed in its video, it is equip with instructions on how to install it, and some vintage images to be save.







Brief History:
 
Tiberian Dawn, created by Westwood Studios for MS-DOS, the first of twelve games released under the Command & Conquer label. It tells the story of two divisions of Global Defense Initiative of the United Nations, and the Brotherhood of Nod a quasi-religious cult, with their own state organization. They are mortal enemies that want to control the Tiberium, a mysterious resource that is gradually spreading and contaminating the humanity.

Brief History:

Tiberian Sun is also released by Westwood Studios, and made for Microsoft Windows in the year 1999. A sequel to Command & Conquer and Renegade, and antecedent to Tiberium Wars, the main plot follows is between the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod taking place in 2030 for their second war.

Firestorm expansion pack, firstly released in 2000, follows the proceedings as they unfolded in the GDI campaign of Tiberian Sun. With the Brotherhood of Nod seemingly splintered into feuding warlords following Kane's second downfall, Anton Slavik is unwavering to continue their goal through the resurrection of the Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform, an advanced Artificial Intelligence army of NOD.

When i get www.parrabuddy.blogspot.com more established i will have to come back and learn how to play some of these games.
I read Tom Clancy novels so some of the subject matter will be known to me and will add to the enjoyment!
