well, I define it as this:
A site that gives you all the multimedia you can never imagine that can be created, with people around the globe which they gave life on their creation as they present it here.
In other terms:
Newgrounds is a user-submitted website where everyone can submit a flash games and animation they created, and where everyone can enjoy rating, reviewing or using the content. Having said that, you can also present your Art, Illustration and Stories, and if you create Music for Games, Movies or brag about your work of genius, then why not pass it on.

You can download what you see and hear, as long as you give credit to the Author/Creator

This website gives a new phase to presenting a new media of Flash Games, Animation, Movies, etc. by this it goes beyond of the box and relates to everyone as it said on it's logo, "Everything. By Everyone." All categories are rated quoted to its content, it applies for Teen, Anyone, and Mature. I suggest that you'd be careful on choosing what to play or view if you don't fall to its rating qualification. We should be responsible on browsing the net.
